NHW Whitehorse Needs Your Help

The current Executive Committee have done a fabulous job in difficult times, but there is always a continued need to have other members to step up.  If you would like to nominate for any position, please advise us via email (click here) no later than 5pm Wednesday 2nd November 2022.

All of the following positions are declared vacant and we seek nominations:

  • Chairperson

  • Vice Chairperson

  • Secretary

  • Minute Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Publicity Officer

  • Other Committee

Additionally, we seek coordinators for the following activities:

  • Safe Plate Days - 2 or 3 days run each year on a Saturday in association with Victoria Police and Bunnings Vermont South and Box Hill

  • Annual Community Meeting - a once-a-year gathering of the community to hear from experts in the field of community safety and our local Police (unfortunately not possible since 2019)

  • Mid-Week Activities - working in coordination with our Crime Prevention Officer to organise volunteers and deliver flyers to hot-spots in Whitehorse

  • Whitehorse Spring Festival Coordinator(s) - a small team is required to ensure our presentation is organised, plentiful, volunteers sourced and all on site as per Whitehorse Festival requirements

Please email us (click here) if you think you can assist Neighbourhood Watch Whitehorse with these and many other tasks we undertake throughout the year.
