Residential Burglary
• Prospect St, Box Hill – Between 23rd and 26th November 2023. Wire mesh to storage cage cut. Saw bench stolen.
• Ruby St, Burwood East – Between 26th and 27th November 2023. Sunglasses, loose coins and garage remote stolen from unlocked vehicle parked at front of property. A remote was used by the offender/s to open the garage and steal two bikes.
• Prospect St, Box Hill – Between 24th and 27th November 2023. Storage cage burglary. Mesh cut around lock. luggage stolen.
• Surrey Rd, Blackburn – Between 27th and 28th November 2023. Rear door to garage jemmied by unknown offender/s. Garage searched. Nil stolen.
• Thames St, Box Hill North – 22nd November 2023. Roller door victims garage roller door left open. scooter stolen.
• 900-1000 Whitehorse Rd Box Hill – 30th November 2023. Storage cage located in basement of apartment complex forced open with two bicycles stolen.
• Esdale St, Nunawading – 30th November 2023. Unknown offenders have attempted to access one vehicle and successfully gained access to a second vehicle at the location. The vehicle was ransacked, and various items were stolen. The offenders have then attempted to gain access to the residence but were scared off by the victim.
Theft from Motor Vehicle (TFMV)
• Metropolitan Ave, Nunawading – Between 24th and 25th November 2023. Pass side window of tradesperson van smashed. Unknown stolen at time of report.
• Fuller St, Mitcham – 24th November 2023. CCTV captured 1 male offender attempt to open toolboxes on rear of tradespersons utility vehicle. Nil entry gained. Nil stolen.
• Jolimont Rd, Forest Hill – 25th November 2023. Window of Vehicle smashed. Keyfob from glovebox stolen and used by the offender/s to commit Burglary at the victim’s home address.
• Moore St, Box Hill South – 25th November 2023. Locks forced on rear canopy of tradespersons utility vehicle. Power tools stolen.
• Elm St, Blackburn – 26th November 2023. Coins stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in street.
• Wolseley Cr, Blackburn – Between 23rd and 24th November 2023. Nil sign of forced entry to vehicle. Wallet containing cards stolen. The offenders have then used the victims credit card to commit further offences.
• 3McCubbin St, Burwood – Between 27th and 28th November 2023. Nil sign of forced entry to vehicle. Service manual and ID stolen.
• Cottrell Ct, Nunawading – Between 27th and 28th November 2023. Nil sign of forced entry to vehicle. Credit card stolen and used by offenders to commit further offences.
• Bindy St, Blackburn South – Between 28th and 30th November 2023. Rear number plate stolen from vehicle.
• Barrina St, Blackburn South – 30th November 2023. CCTV captured an offender attempted to open the door handles of a locked vehicle before leaving unsuccessful. Nil stolen. 😊
• Malcolm St, Blackburn –– Between 28th and 29th November 2023. Nil sign of forced entry to vehicle. Vehicle rummaged through. Various items stolen.
• Springfield Rd, Blackburn North – 30th November 2023. Two male offenders gained access to the victim’s vehicle. Offenders smashed front window and popped the bonnet. The offenders attempted to steal the battery before confronted by witnesses. Males decamped.
• Percy St, Mitcham – Between 29th and 30th November 2023. Vehicle door forced open with crowbar. Power tools stolen.
• Orient Ave, Mitcham – Between 29th and 30th November 2023. Lock on back window of vehicle canopy forced open. Nil further damage and nil stolen.
• William St, Box Hill – Between 30th November 2023 and 1st December 2023. Nil sign of forced entry into vehicle. Vehicle rummaged through and coins stolen.
